This 4-week series is specifically designed to equip women with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to safely and effectively use a pistol for personal defense. Through practical
instruction, engaging drills, and situational awareness techniques, participants will develop
proficiency in marksmanship and defensive shooting while exploring real-world applications for
concealed carry.

Session Breakdown
Session 1: Fundamentals of Marksmanship and Safety
In this foundational session, participants will learn the basics of pistol shooting and firearm
safety. This session provides a comprehensive introduction for first-time and new shooters,
covering essential topics such as firearms handling, safety protocols, and marksmanship
fundamentals. With a balance of informative lecture and practical range exercises, participants
will build confidence and competence in pistol shooting through hands-on experience and
step-by-step instruction.

● Firearms safety rules and proper handling
● Fundamentals of marksmanship: stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control
● Live-fire practice to reinforce learning
Session 2: Managing Confrontations and Situational Awareness
This session focuses on critical skills to help participants recognize, avoid, and respond to
potential threats. Learn how to sharpen your situational awareness, identify pre-assault
indicators, and manage confrontations to improve your personal safety.

● Understanding and recognizing threat cues
● Verbal de-escalation techniques
● Managing stress and decision-making in confrontational situations
Session 3: Defensive Pistol – Using Your Pistol for Personal Defense
In this practical session, participants will transition from marksmanship to defensive shooting.
Learn how to use a pistol effectively in a self-defense scenario, emphasizing speed, accuracy,
and shot placement under pressure. This session introduces defensive shooting drills and
techniques to help participants respond efficiently in critical moments.

Session 4: Women’s Concealed Carry Options and Firearm Drawing Techniques
This final session addresses real-world carry solutions for women, focusing on holster options,
off-body carry methods, and proper drawing techniques. Participants will gain hands-on practice
drawing a firearm safely and efficiently from different carry methods to prepare for concealed
carry situations.

● Practicing safe draws under supervision
Who Should Attend:
This course is designed for women who want to develop their skills and confidence in handling a pistol for personal safety and self-defense. No prior experience is required.

● Total Ammunition needed 150rds (3 standard boxes, available for sale through range).
● Notebook and pen
