Prerequisite: Functional Pistol Combatives (or instructor approval)

Red Dot Sights (RDS) have transformed the shooting landscape with their intuitive aiming process and threat-focused capabilities. However, as with any technology, malfunctions can occur. This course dives deep into understanding, diagnosing, and remedying the malfunctions related to RDS. Equip yourself with the knowledge to swiftly and accurately address any hiccup in the heat of the moment.

Course Outline

• Universal Firearm Safety Rules
• Confirming Zero
• Understand common malfunctions associated with Red Dot Sights.
• Efficiently diagnose RDS malfunctions.
• Apply techniques to fix or work around optic obstructions.
• Confirm and maintain an accurate zero despite issues.
• Adapt to real-world scenarios where RDS may not function perfectly.

  • Semi-Automatic or Revolver with a RDS Optic
  • Rentals available for $15 (Limited Rentals Available)
• 150rds of Ammunition
  • *Must use our ammunition in rental guns
• One Good Quality Strong Side Outside the Waistband (OWB) Holster or strong side concealed carry holster (IWB) ~ Holster must allow 1 hand reholstering, no cross-draw or shoulder rigs 
• 3 Double Stacked Magazine (6 for Single Stacked Magazines) or 6 Speed Loaders (Limited Loaners available)
• Ear and Eye Protection (Loaners Available)
• Cover Garment to Conceal Pistol and Holster
