Course Overview

Prerequisite: Carbine Combatives (or instructor approval)

Unconventional Shooting Positions is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in dynamic shooting scenarios where traditional shooting stances and positions may not be viable. In real-life encounters, shooters often find themselves in situations that demand adaptive and creative shooting solutions, including shooting from the ground and effectively transitioning from prone or supine positions to standing while wielding a carbine.

This course delves into the intricacies of shooting techniques that are specifically tailored for unconventional scenarios, helping participants develop a versatile skill set that bridges the gap between theory and practical application. The curriculum provides hands-on training to ensure that participants not only understand the concepts but also become proficient in executing them.

• Getting Up with a Carbine

Course Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Rifle: AR platforms, AK platforms, or pistol-caliber carbines
• Rentals available for $25
• 60rds of Ammunition*Must use our ammunition in rental guns
• 2 Magazines
• Ear and Eye Protection (Loaners Available)
• Weapons Mounted Flashlight
• Elbow and Knee Pads recommended
