Our 2-Hour Basic Pistol course is designed to teach new and novice pistol shooters the basics of shooting a pistol. This course will provides students with a fundamental understanding on how to use a semi-automatic pistol or revolver. Our Basic Pistol will also teach students safety and general firearm laws. This course combines classroom and live fire shooting drills. Students should expect to shoot 25 to 50 rounds. For more questions email our Chief Instructor, John E. Course Outline:
- Universal Firearm Safety Rules
- Treat all guns as if they were loaded and always know the condition of your firearm.
- Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are indexed on the target and have made the decision to fire.
- Always keep the firearm in a safe direction and never point at anything you are not willing to kill, destroy, or buy.
- Know your target and what is around and beyond it.
