The hands-on portion will include experimenting with various flashlight options and practicing locating strategically placed items in the dark.
Class 2: Into the Shadows
“Practical Application in Low- and No-Light Conditions”
Experience the challenges of darkness firsthand. In this immersive session, students will:
- Practice searching and spotting in controlled low- and no-light environments.
- Begin integrating an inert training gun to build coordination and defensive skills under realistic conditions.
Class 3: Light It Up
“Low-Light Live Fire”
This class takes the skills learned into live-fire practice. Starting with dry fire drills to ensure safety and proficiency, students will progress to:
- Movement techniques in low-light environments.
- Perfecting the draw stroke, target identification, and engagement in both low- and no-light scenarios.
Class 4: Shadows in Action
“Force-on-Force Scenarios in Darkness”
Put your training to the test! This high-energy session uses airsoft weapons in realistic, low-light scenarios. Students will:
- Act as both defenders and “bad guys” in role-playing exercises.
- Encounter scenarios like home invasions, night-time muggings, and more.
This class builds the mental and physical adaptability required for self-defense in the dark.
Class 5: Illuminating the Arsenal
“Low-Light Rifle Integration”
The final class focuses on integrating a rifle into low-light defense strategies. Students will apply previously learned concepts to rifles in live-fire drills, including:
- Searching, spotting, and target engagement.
- Movement and situational tactics in low- and no-light conditions.
By the end of this session, students will have a complete understanding of low-light self-defense with multiple tools.
