May 11 @ 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM EDT
Weapons-Based Jiu-Jitsu Training
Our Weapons-Based Jiu-Jitsu training program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop practical self-defense skills in unarmed and weapon-based encounters. This course consists of weekly sessions that cycle between Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, wrestling techniques, knife defense, firearm retention, gun disarms, and close-quarters shooting.
Course Objectives:
Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals: Build a strong foundation in Jiu-Jitsu techniques, focusing on leverage, control, and finishes. Participants will learn and refine essential grappling skills, including takedowns, escapes, positional control, and submissions, to develop a solid base for weapons-based training.
Wrestling for Self-Defense: Integrate wrestling techniques into your skill set to effectively control opponents in unarmed and weapon-based encounters. This section will cover takedowns, clinching, off-balancing, and ground control techniques specifically tailored to self-defense scenarios.
Knife Defense: Learn practical skills to defend against knife attacks. Participants will study techniques for controlling and neutralizing armed attackers, emphasizing situational awareness, evasion, disarms, and creating opportunities for escape.
Firearm Retention: Develop the ability to protect and retain your firearm in close-quarters confrontations. This Topic will focus on techniques to defend against an assailant’s attempts to disarm you while maintaining control of your weapon.
Gun Disarms: Master effective techniques for disarming an armed opponent. Participants will learn safe and precise methods to neutralize threats while minimizing the risk of injury to themselves and others.
Close Quarters Shooting: Integrate Jiu-Jitsu principles with close-quarters shooting techniques. Participants will develop skills to engage threats in confined spaces while maintaining control, accuracy, and situational awareness.
